Tanya Pardazi dies after a skydiving accident

Tanya Pardazi’s life prematurely ended following a skydiving accident in Toronto, Canada as her parachute failed to open. She succumbed after sustaining injuries in the 4,000-foot fall.

Pardazi completed one ground training course at Skydive Toronto before she went on to jump from a plane on 3rd September 2022. Furthermore, the course supposedly made her eligible to undergo, what the company has termed as a ‘Solo First Jump Course’ on her own.

Skydive Toronto initially reported that Pardazi died because she had released her chute at a ‘low altitude without the time’ to inflate. However,  new reports reveal that she was wearing an automatic parachute during her jump.

Moreover, it added, ‘This course includes a skydive from 4,000 feet. Dispatched by a Jumpmaster, you will exit the airplane attached to a static line, which automatically deploys your main parachute during a fall of up to 5 seconds. A Ground Control Instructor will give you radio instructions over a walkie-talkie on how to navigate your parachute back to the landing area for a touchdown!’
