Surprise Signing? Birdman Claims Bad Bunny Joined Drake’s OVO Sound Record Label

Birdman alleges that Bad Bunny, an international Latin music singer, had been signed to Drake’s OVO Sound record label. Birdman made the statements through a Clubhouse session alongside Wack 100 on Monday (Oct. 9), saying Bad Bunny had been signed to Drake’s OVO label from the very beginning of his career. Drizzy & Bad Bunny initially collaborated on the former’s 2018 single “Mia,” performing the song live during Drake’s Aubrey And The Three Migos Tour in Miami. Drake & his OVO signee PARTYNEXTDOOR additionally collaborated with Benito on a remix of PARTY’s “Loyal” in 2020. The Boy also mentioned Bad Bunny on his It’s All A Blur Tour performance at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Bunny made buzz separately for attending with Kendall Jenner. The 6 God most recently collaborated with Bad Bunny on the track titled “Gently,” which appears on his latest project, For All the Dogs, which was released on October 6. On Monday (Oct. 9), Bad Bunny revealed on Instagram that his latest project Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Maana would be released on Friday (Oct. 13). Following the arrival of his most recent release, For All The Dogs, Drake continues to be the talk of the town. The record has caused fierce debate amongst followers along with other social media users. One of these is Joe Budden, and his involvement with the album’s release is the subject of a separate subplot.

Birdman Asserts That Bad Bunny Has Signed With Drake

In the words of Birdman, the Puerto Rican artist has been covertly signed to OVO since the very start of his career, consequently, Bad Bunny’s success is unquestionably Drake’s success as well. On Sunday (October 8), the Cash Money boss appeared on Clubhouse with Wack 100 for a quick chat, during which he divulged the supposed affiliation. “Bad Bunny has been signed to Drake,” asserted Birdman. “You just don’t realise it.” We’re heading up, guy… [He’s been with] OVO [from] day one.” While Bad Bunny is featured on Drake’s new album titled ‘For All the Dogs’, both artists initially worked together in 2018 on the former’s hit “MIA.” Both OVO Sound and Rimas Entertainment are given credit on the single, however, no subsequent release from the Puerto Rican artist has listed OVO. The “Dakiti” vocalist is also going to release a new album, titled Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Maana, on Friday (October 13). Its latest listing on streaming services also does not include OVO. Birdman has been quite vocal recently, particularly in regards to Drake. Since Drizzy signed to Lil Wayne’s label Young Money in 2009, the Cash Money co-founder has been active in his career.

The contract was a collaboration between Young Money & Cash Money, and it was issued by Universal. Birdman has responded to numerous high-profile critics with the outing of For All the Dogs. Amongst them is Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne Tha God is one of them, who criticised Drake’s SZA collaboration titled “Slime You Out,” claiming “absolutely nobody cared” about it. Birdman responded on Instagram, referencing a controversial interview he as well as Charlamagne had in 2016. “I suppose you intend good and I certainly respect you even though [sic] we had our difference…but respek [Drake],” he responded. The Cash Money boss even had a message to leave for all of Drake’s critics. He captioned an Instagram Story photograph of the OVO hitmaker knocking the camera two middle fingers, “N-ggaz continues to play with [Drake], we gon chuck you a stunna surprise party,” including emojis of a crimson teardrop as well as a Canadian flag. Birdman has plenty to say to Druski of all Drake’s potential adversaries. For months, the comedian has been embroiled in a humorous rivalry with Birdman & Cash Money Records, even starting a “label” named Coulda Been Records featuring a logo similar to Cash Money’s.
