Stray Kids, NCT Dream, Red Velvet, and Others will Make Comeback in March 2022

K-pop groups will be competing against each other in March 2022. Over ten groups are anticipated to return, with four musicians set to make their debut next month.

There are also Japanese comebacks on the list. This return season, the fight for music show triumphs and chart-toppers will be tougher, as rookie groups will compete against big groups.

K-pop fans gear up for a March comeback battle: Oh My Girl, Weeekly, Brave Girls, and more to release albums

In March 2022, fans will be spoiled for choice with roughly 13 K-pop comebacks and debuts. Reports began to surface detailing comebacks and debuts one by one. Music show victories are one of the numerous methods to measure how effective a comeback has been.

To decide weekly winners, SBS’ Inkigayo, MBC’s Show! Music Core, KBS’ Music Bank, and other shows use digital streams and physical points. With both large and small groups reuniting, the stakes for prizes have increased.

Take a look at the K-pop groups that have been rumored to be returning as of February 20.

1. Nct Dream – TBA

SM Entertainment announced on January 27 that the Hot Sauce group will release an album in March. It will be the K-pop group’s first release in 2022, following the repackaged album Hello Future, which was released nine months earlier.

2. Oh My Girl – TBA

On February 7, WM Entertainment revealed that the girl group Oh My Girl would make a comeback in March. There hasn’t been any other information released on the comeback as of yet.

3. Cherry Bullet – March 2

Cherry Bullet will release its second mini-album, Cherry Wish, on March 2 after its last release in January 2021. The band has revealed two concept photographs for the album, as well as a lyrics poster, a highlight medley, and more in the future.

4. Weeekly – March 7

Weeekly is one of several K-pop groups planning a comeback in March after sweeping the industry with their viral dancing movements and songs. The group has announced the release of their debut single album, Play Game: AWAKE, on March 7 at 6 p.m. KST.

5. ASTRO’s Moonbin & Sanha – March 15

With the release of their mini-album, REFUGE, Moonbin, and Sanha from ASTRO will make a comeback as a unit. To entice fans who have been waiting for the vocalists’ comeback, the duo pre-released a song called Ghost Town.

6. KINGDOM – March 17

Rookie boy band With their fourth album, History of Kingdom: Part IV Dann, KINGDOM, who wowed fans with their royal and unique vision, will return. Each album in the KINGDOM series concentrates on one member who reigns over an imaginary kingdom and shares its tales.

7. Stray Kids – March 18

Stray Kids, a multi-million-selling boy band, hasn’t had a vacation since August of last year. NOEASY was published in August, followed by Christmas EveL in November, after which the trio taped variety and reality programs, interviews, and collaborations. In March, they will release the mini-album ODDINARY.

8. (G)I-DLE – TBA

CUBE Entertainment has stated that the K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE will return in March 2022. Furthermore, (G)I-DLE will now be upgraded to a five-member group after Soojin departed the group owing to bullying charges.

9. Red Velvet – TBA

Red Velvet, a third-generation K-pop girl group, is also said to be working on a new album, with a release date scheduled for next month. Fans are eagerly awaiting the group’s next offering since the trio is known for defying stereotypes about girl groups.

10. Brave Girls – TBA

Brave Girls, the viral Rollin singers, are also said to be making a reappearance next month. The band is presently working on the record. When the six-year-old female group’s 2017 song Rollin became a viral success last year, the group’s fame skyrocketed.

The next album will be released six months after their previous one, After We Ride.

Meanwhile, TWICE will release #TWICE4 on March 2, MAMAMOO will release I Say Mamamoo on March 23, and CIX will release Pinky Swear on March 30.

ILY:1, a girl group, and T.A.N., a boy group, both have no stated debut date.

In terms of solo debuts, TEMPEST of Yeuhua Entertainment will release It’s ME, It’s WE on March 2, MONSTA X’s Kihyun will release VOYAGER on March 15, and Kawaguchi Yurina of Girls Planet 999 will release digital single Look at Me on March 21.

EXO Suho’s special present to fans, which he teased on the group’s official Twitter account, and BTS’ rumored surprise song at its Seoul show are among the month’s anticipated releases.
