Soulja Boy’s Verse Included In Donda 2

On February 22, a Donda 2 listening session was conducted in Miami’s LoanDepot Park. Kanye West’s entrance enthralled the audience, and when he came to the sentence regarding Kim Kardashian’s boyfriend Pete Davidson, the stadium erupted.

Other musicians quickly joined the event, including 2 Chainz, Pusha T, Jack Harlow, Alicia Keys, and others. However, the album is now hot because of Soulja Boy’s verse in Donda 2.

Soulja Boy was first dropped from the record without warning, as confirmed by Ye himself. He then shared his line on the song, also known as DeAndre, and blasted Ye on social media.

The rapper was upset when he was removed from the album, and when Ye was asked about it, he didn’t try to hide anything. The subject was brought up the last time West appeared on Drink Champs, and he began by praising Soulja before debasing him. He stated: “I’m not gonna argue with you n***as about this at all. Soulja Boy is top 5 most (influential) as far as what we are today.”

N.O.R.E. then questioned Kanye why DeAndre was left off the record, to which the latter reacted by asking if he heard the verse. N.O.R.E. questioned if the verse was good, to which Ye replied: “Nah, but I tell you what though…”

The audience was intelligent enough to figure out why Soulja Boy was deleted from Donda 2. Ye appears to have thought Soulja’s verse was inadequate and hence replaced him with Young Thug.

Fans were happy to hear Soulja Boy’s verse on ‘Donda 2’

DeAndre’s contribution to Donda 2 was well received by his fans, and when they learned that his verse had been featured on the album, they expressed their delight on social media.

One person tweeted, “Soulja boy. He finally made it on the album 😭 let’s see if he makes it to the final released project.”

Another Twitter user wrote, “Whatttt Soulja boy finally made it on DONDA because I was sick of him lol #DONDA2.”

“So Soulja Boy FINALLY made it on a Ye track?? 😂” a user named @cori_j wrote.

Despite the occasional squabbles, the 31-year-old record producer recently declared that everything is well between him and Ye. Soulja had already stated a few harsh things about Kanye on social media.

It seems like Ye then texted Soulja and requested him not to discuss his estranged wife. DeAndre also posted a screenshot of the chat, following which Ye took over by telling the musician that he would give him one of his new Stem players and offered him to join his future album.

In an Instagram story post, the Chicago, Illinois native stated that there are no issues between him and West. He characterized them as two intelligent, strong-willed men with enormous goals.

Kanye West’s eleventh studio album, Donda 2, is set to be released through GOOD Music. A new release date has yet to be announced, however, it was originally scheduled for February 22, 2022.
