Sofía Vergara Walks Off ‘America’s Got Talent’ Stage in Response to Howie Mandel’s Single Status Joke

Sofia Vergara has had it with this. Vergara left the stage during America’s Got Talent on Wednesday after fellow judge Howie Mandel made a joke about her recent divorce from former husband Joe Manganiello. The unfortunate joke was when Simon Cowell, a fellow judge, asked 51-year-old Vergara to take a lie detector test while she was seated on a tater-tot throne in honour of the show’s sponsor Sonic. She refused to answer Mandel’s humorous question about whether there was somebody in the audience she was “interested in.” She said, “That’s it!” and then rushed off the stage, only to chuckle when she sat at the judges’ table.

This is not the first time Mandel has recently made fun of his colleagues judges’ romantic relationships.
