SNSD popularly known as Girls’ Generation is all set to make an official comeback in 2022. All eight group members are going to reunite just in time for the group’s 15th anniversary since their debut.
It is safe to say that fans are on cloud nine with the recent Girls’ Generation announcement. They are stoked to soon be witnessing the reunion of the full band this summer.
The K-pop group further revealed that they will also be releasing a full new studio album as well.

Girls’ Generation to return in 2022
South Korean outlet StarNews first confirmed the news of the Girls’ Generation reunion. Other news publications such as Soompi, AllKPop, and KpopHerald further corroborated the announcement.
On 17th May, SM Entertainment also confirmed that all eight members of Girls’ Generation will be reuniting in August 2022.
The upcoming comeback will also mark the first time the full group is coming together in five years. The group disbanded in 2017 to pursue solo careers and activities.
The official Twitter account of Girls’ Generation celebrated the news by tweeting, ‘The legends are back! #GirlsGeneration will release an album as 8 members to celebrate their 15th anniversary this August!’
For the unversed, the girls made their official K-pop debut back on 5th August with their hit track ‘Into The New World’ which also promptly helped them in their rise to fame.
The band released their sixth and last album together in August 2017. The record was called Holiday Night which featured tracks such as Holiday and All Night.

Girls’ Generation fans got emotional when they learned that their favorite band is going to reunite soon. They were over the moon after realizing they will be getting new songs from the group in nearly 5 years.
Many fans cannot wait for the summer to come soon enough.
