Snoop Dogg Claps Back at Island Boys Rapper’s Threats: The Battle of the Beats

Rap legend Snoop Dogg has responded online to a threat from a member of the Island Boys regarding comments he made about the duo a couple of years ago. The clip (below) features Island Boys rapper Flyysoulja talking real greasy about Dogg Style MC on Snoop Dogg’s Instagram page (June 7). The Island Boys rapper says in the video that if Snoop Dogg were to say that to me in person, I would fade on sight. I would beat his a*s. Everything. On my life, I swear to God that I will. If I ever see him, it will be on sight, I swear to God. A clip of someone throwing wild punches next to a pool is also included in the spliced-together post.

In the final video, Snoop Dogg is seen yelling, ‘Shut the f**k up, bch,’ into a phone before slamming the receiver. Using the caption of the post, Snoop Dogg responded to the threats. In his caption, Snoop added multiple laughing and crying emojis as well as a boxing glove emoji. It seems Flyysoulja’s video is a rebuttal to Snoop Dogg’s clowning of the duo on Peacock’s 21 and Done special in December of 2021 when a video of the duo rapping in a swimming pool was shown. Snoop responded to the viral clip by saying, “I’m speechless.”. It’s two goofballs in a pool. It’s not the first time the Island Boys have beefed with another rapper. The duo sparked a beef with Blueface last December.

It doesn’t seem to phase the Death Row legend who has been through it all, as he has responded to island boy Flyysoulja’s threats to “beat his ass” on sight. In late 2021, after Tha Doggfather clowned the duo on Peacock’s 21 and Done Special alongside Kevin Hart, Flyysoulja sent Snoop a series of menacing messages. The tatted-up social media star warned in a video that if he said that to me in person, I would fade on sight. I would beat his a$$. Every single thing in my life, I swear to God, I will. I swear to God, if I ever see him, it will be on sight. In response to the threats, the 51-year-old couldn’t help but laugh off the threats from someone half his age on Wednesday (June 7). ‘I don’t want no [smoke] with you,’ he joked in an Instagram post while emoji-ing crying faces. Snoop’s followers were left in stitches at the hilarious exchange, including Timbaland, DJ Pooh, Lil Eazy-E, and many more.
After watching the Island Boys’ “I’m an Island Boy” video, which catapulted them to viral fame in 2021, Snoop Dogg hung his head in disappointment and let out an audible sigh. Snoop said after watching the clip, “I’m speechless.”. That’s two goofballs in the pool. I don’t understand. Eventually, the Island Boys backed off, apologized to Snoop Dogg, and called a truce after Flyysoulja’s threatening response. My fault, I’m sorry. It wasn’t my intention to be mean to Snoop Dogg, Flyysoulja said. It’s all love, Snoop Dogg. In spite of the fact that he is an inspiration, he kinda put me down with the way he talked about me. It is important to remember that I am a human being and that I feel like he made an effort. Alright, Snoop Dogg. It’s not the first time the Island Boys have had beef with another rapper. Blueface and the duo got into a beef last December.
