Several names such as Zendaya and Dua Lipa were absent from the event making it less favorable for enthusiasts. Met Gala veterans such as Rihanna and Beyoncรฉ were among the ones who skipped Met Gala 2022.

The 40 years old singer is reportedly on a holiday with her husband Jay-Z in Miami. The couple is enjoying themselves on a private island off the coast of Florida.
3. BTS
The Korean pop band is absent from this yearโs Met Gala. The Dynamite sensation supposedly has a tight schedule. They are busy preparing for their next album which is slated to drop on 10th June 2022.
4. Dua Lipa
Dua Lipa is skipping the red carpet of the star-studded event two times in a row. The Levitating singer missed the event last year owing to her strict schedule.
Lipa is presently on her Future Nostalgia tour. She recently performed at the O2 Arena in London UK.
5. Rihanna
The Fenty Beauty mogul is absent from this year’s Met Gala. The singer is expecting her first baby with rapper ASAP Rocky soon which might be her reason to skip the glitzy event.
6. Harry Styles
The former One Direction member last attended the Met Gala in 2019. He won’t be seen on the red carpet this year as well.
The singer is preoccupied with his upcoming film Don’t Worry Darling. The movie is directed by Styles’ girlfriend, Olivia Wilde.
