Sherri Shepherd’s show is a mix of Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres

Sherri Shepherd is aiming to inspire the viewers while making them laugh out loud when her new daytime talk show hits the television screens this fall.

Moreover, according to reports she wants her show to be a combo of Oprah Winfrey and Ellen DeGeneres.

A source claimed, ‘She’s bringing comedy back to TV… What she plans to do for the show is take Ellen and Oprah and combine it. It will be a funny, inspirational show.’

Meanwhile, Shepherd and her team are socializing with publicists from across the States ahead of the show’s big premiere.

Most recently, she held a mixer at Ink 48 in New York on Wednesday. The event included major agencies such as PMK and Jonesworks, who have Tom Brady and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson as their clients.

Moreover, the 55-year-old comedian hosted a similar event last month in Los Angeles. It brought out executives from Amazon and Interscope.

An insider revealed, ‘Sherri made sure she spoke to every single publicist that attended. She did the same in LA, literally every single one – all the networks and record labels.’

The Daytime Emmy Award nominate was also captured talking with Madonna at her party earlier this month. The pop singer’s party took place at Rodgers DiscOasis in Central Park.

She further added, ‘Why would it be anything but that? As a celebrity myself, I know what it’s like to not feel safe appearing on a show or hoping a host doesn’t try to have a gotcha moment with you. It will be a celebrity-friendly zone on Sherri.’

Shepherd’s interview comes ahead of the reports that Wendy Williams is allegedly calling in organizers to boycott her new show, which replaces her.

Sherri’s latest daytime talk show is set to debut on our television screens on 12th September.
