Selling Sunset actress Maya Vander will reportedly not return for the next season of Netflix’s series.

The sudden announcement comes weeks after Vander revealed that she suffered a miscarriage six months after giving birth to a stillborn son.

Here is everything you need to know.

Maya Vander will not feature in Selling Sunset Season 6

Sources told TMZ that Maya Vander has left Netflix’s show Selling Sunset and will not be seen in the sixth season.

According to the production, the actress is quitting the reality show to focus on raising her family and her real estate business in Miami.

Furthermore, it is reported that the 40-year-old reality star also switched her real estate license to join the Compass real estate firm.

Regardless, Selling Sunset’s producers have kept their fingers crossed for Vander’s return. However the constant back and forth between Miami and Los Angeles is a lot to handle for Vander.

Maya Vander’s fertility struggles

Maya Vander announced some devastating news alongside a picture of a sleeping Aiden on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday.

The Selling Sunset alum wrote, ‘I had a very crazy week. Miscarriage after 10 weeks, following my stillbirth. But my kids and my husband are absolutely my blessings and I am so lucky to be their mother!’

She added, ‘They bring me joy and happiness in my life. Hug and love the people you care about. Don’t take things for granted!’

Vander is married to David Amar. She gave birth to their first child Aiden in April 2019. The realtor further welcomed their now two-year-old daughter Elle Madison in May 2020.

In July 2021, Vander announced that they were expecting a third baby together on her Instagram handle.

Unfortunately, five months later she suffered from a devastating stillbirth.

Vander shared a picture of the memory box she received from the hospital on Instagram in December 2021.

She mentioned, ‘I do not wish this on anyone. What was a regular weekly checkup turned into a nightmare that I never imagine will happen to me? You will always be in my heart baby Mason.’
