Selena Gomez, who was accused of promoting Only Murders In The Building during the SAG-AFTRA strike, has since deleted the offending post. On August 30th, Selena Gomez posted a picture on Instagram regarding her show Only Murders in the Building. She eventually withdrew it after receiving flak for not abiding by the SAG-AFTRA strike regulations. She appeared to be on the set of the show in the photo because she tagged the official Instagram account for Only Murders in The Building. In the caption, the singer-actress wrote, “Missing and wanting.” The post received a lot of attention, and it was there for nearly 15 hours before she removed it.

During the SAG-AFTRA strike, members are not permitted to discuss their previous or current work on social media, in interviews, on the red carpet, or anywhere else. Despite the fact that Selena was not encouraging people to watch the show, some people assumed she was breaking the rules because she tagged the show’s official Instagram. People shared their thoughts in the comments area. Some called her “tone-deaf,” while others accused her of not supporting the strike. When contacted about it, Selena’s representative and SAG-AFTRA declined to comment. The third instalment of the show is now on the air. Hulu began airing episodes on August 8th and will continue to do so every Tuesday until October 3rd.

Selena Gomez Slammed By Netizens For Tone-Deaf Now Deleted Instagram Post

Selena Gomez’s Instagram post tagging her Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building” was removed after several fans accused her of violating SAG-AFTRA strike regulations. The video in the tweet appeared to be from the set of the comedy programme. In the video’s caption, Gomez tagged the official Instagram account for “Only Murders in the Building” and wrote, “Missing and wanting.” The post received over 1.1 million likes in the first 15 hours before being removed from Gomez’s Facebook. While the strike is in effect, members are not permitted to promote their work through press interviews or social media posts. Gomez didn’t say anything in the set video, and she didn’t encourage her fans to watch the performance in the post, but she did tag the official ‘Only Murders in the Building’ account. Because of the tag, followers assumed the video was shot on the set of the Hulu series. It was being questioned whether this constituted a rule violation.

Many of Gomez’s fans accused her of scabbing, with one fan calling the post “tone deaf” in the midst of the strikes. The third season of “Only Murders in the Building” is now airing on Hulu. In the series, Gomez plays Mabel Mora, a young artist with a talent for investigating crimes in New York City, alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short. Since the premiere episode, Gomez has been a series regular. The third season of the sitcom premiered on Hulu on August 8 and will run through October 3. Because of the strike, Gomez and her co-stars have given no interviews about Season 3 episodes. Hulu releases new episodes every Tuesday. Gomez recently made headlines for her comeback to music with the release of her new single “Single Soon,” which was released on August 25. At the moment, the song is available as a standalone single and is not part of any album. Gomez is permitted to promote her album because it does not violate SAG-AFTRA strike regulations.
