A teen was killed in an alleged intentional hit-and-run over the weekend in Florence, Los Angeles.

Footage of the hit-and-run accident is released
Several new outlets obtained the video clip of the hit-and-run accident. According, to reports, the teen is identified as Matthew Lobos. He was 17 years old.
In the clip, we can see the victim being run over by two vehicles. As per the autopsy, Matthew died on the spot.
However, the LAPD South Traffic Division remains unsuccessful in capturing the suspects.
Moreover, LAPD detective Jerry Gibson said in a press conference that the incident took place on 21st August at 2:30 am. The place is claimed to be the parking lot of a warehouse located on 62nd Street between Avalon Boulevard and Central Avenue.
According to reports, Matthew was attending an underground warehouse party where he seemingly got into a physical confrontation with the suspects. It was also mentioned that both the parties later took their dispute to the street.
However, shortly after a black SUV raced through the crowd towards Matthew’s direction and ran over him.
The video further included a person leaving the vehicle and getting into a white Acura. Although the car initially appeared to drive away. However, in the next few moments, it rounded back to strike Matthew again.
Nevertheless, the cops are suspecting it to be a gang-related attack. But Matthew’s family maintains to claim that the deceased was not a member of any gang.
Matthew Lobos’ aunt launched a GoFundMe page
Matthew Lobos’ aunt, Laura Valenzuela started a GoFundMe page to support the teen’s mother.
Currently, the page has managed to raise more than $17,000 in funds.
Meanwhile, Matthew was a senior student at Santee High School. Additionally, he was all set to turn eighteen in a few months.
Regardless, Valenzuela shared her thoughts on her nephew’s shocking death in an interview.

She said, ‘On the early hours of Sunday the 21st of August, my dear 17-year-old nephew had his life tragically taken away. Just 5 months before his 18th birthday he was stuck by 2 unknown vehicles with the intent to kill.’
Moreover, Matthew’s brother Nicholas Lobos claims that his death was deliberate.
He mentioned, ‘It was intentional. It was on purpose. Everything was intentional.’
Nicholas was one of the last people that spoke to Matthew before his death. According to reports he was supposed to attend the same party but their mother decided against it.
