TMZ reported on Tuesday that the former couple had finalized their divorce, with Ye Kardashian ordered to pay his ex-wife Kim Kardashian $200,000 a month for their four children Saint, Psalm, Chicago and North. The controversial rapper-producer’s lyrics have been the topic of countless tweets and memes since then.
The rapper wrote a song Gold Digger and ended up paying $200k a month in child support. A Twitter user commented on the situation that “my grandma always said he cared about what you said over your life.” Others argued that Ye’s high child support bill does not indicate Kim Kardashian is a gold digger. The fact that Kanye West is rich shouldn’t excuse him from paying child support, one user said. What does this have to do with her being a gold digger? Is it reasonable for her to have to raise her children alone just because she’s rich???

There was a prophecy behind Kanye’s ‘Gold Digger’ song, maybe he was the chosen one, a user posted multiple crying laughing emojis along with it. Kim Kardashian isn’t a gold digger based on Ye’s high child support bill, according to others. In defense of Kim Kardashian, another person posted, Calling her a gold digger when she is richer than Kanye is crazy. On top of child support, Kanye has to pay half of their kids’ college costs and half of their security costs. Their children are in joint custody. According to reports, Kanye West heeded his “Gold Digger” lyrics about prenuptial agreements. Kim is not entitled to spousal support from him.
