Saucy Santana and DJ Akademiks have started trading jabs online, with both parties using homophobic insults to make their points. The feud started on Monday (October 30), when DJ Akademiks reacted to criticism levelled at him by Saucy Santana. Saucy was irritated by Ak’s dismissal of City Girls’ potential, particularly Yung Miami. On his Instagram Story, Saucy appeared to retaliate to Ak’s violence. Saucy and Akademiks’ heated exchange comes after Ak released a critical review of City Girls’ new album RAW over the weekend. The album debuted at position 117 on the Billboard 200 chart. Miami appeared to respond to the dig, however, it was Saucy Santana’s use of a homophobic term that drew the internet’s spotlight.

“In the hood along with a lot of urban traditions, when you see boys who are behaving feminine, that appear to be messy, that are being extravagant and doing f** shit, that’s what you refer them as,” he added as a part of his speech. The cosmetics artist-turned-rapper went on to say that Ak was “mov[ing] like an f-g” for singling out female rappers such as Yung Miami & GloRilla, whom Ak chastised over the weekend because of her feud with Kai Cenat. In recent days, Akademiks has been embroiled in several online feuds. In addition to Santana & Yung Miami, Akademiks has been in going back and forth with GloRilla & Jay Critch. Critch additionally advised him to go outdoors and to look for him at the upcoming Rolling Loud New York.

Saucy Santana and DJ Akademiks Feud: Homophobic Slurs Fuel Heated Conflict

Amid their ongoing fight, DJ Akademiks and Saucy Santana proceeded to go at it on social media Monday afternoon. The feud began on Monday (October 30), when DJ Akademiks retaliated to criticism levelled at him by Saucy Santana. Saucy was irritated by Ak’s dismissal of City Girls’ potential, particularly Yung Miami. “Here on out, man, I want to let everybody know man That’m cool when it comes to the LGBTQ community, however, no b***y man like muthaf**kin’ Saucy Santana will speak to me na,” he added in his most recent livestream. In Jamaican patois, “by man” is a homophobic slur. “N***a, we spat in your face. We couldn’t even hold a conversation. N***a, you’re a c**ksucker. We don’t converse with n***as like you. You need to reconcile with God. N***a, go straighten out your mind. Look in the mirror, na, and find out what the f**k you’re doing.” Ak went on to call Santana a “b***y boy” once more, saying that even though he does not want to “indict” anybody in the LGBTQ+ community, Santana suffers from a “mental illness.” Akademiks concluded that he’d “rather be dead” than engage in sexual activity with a man, and towards the end of his lengthy rant, he asked Saucy whether he wanted smoke coming through to his headquarters. On his Instagram Story, Saucy appeared to retaliate to Ak’s violence. “You see what kind of n***a are we dealing with at the moment?” Saucy stated.

“Do you want me to drive up to your headquarters?” Headquarters? N***as is on the loose. I’d like to meet you on the road. Your place of business? N***a, why the f**k is someone going to see you at your headquarters? That is the issue. I’m beginning to suspect that this may be your aesthetic. You do the phoney online st, then sit in a room packed with muthaf**kin’ cameras & try to make a b****h pass out.” Saucy and Akademiks’ heated exchange comes after Ak released a critical review of City Girls’ new album RAW during the weekend. The album debuted at position 117 on the Billboard 200 chart. Miami appeared to react to the dig, but it was actually Saucy Santana’s use of a homophobic slur that drew the internet’s attention. “In the hood and a lot of urban traditions, whenever you come across boys who have been behaving feminine, that seem to be messy, that are acting extra and spewing f*** shit, that’s what you should address them as,” he added as a part of his speech. The cosmetics artist-turned-rapper goes on to say that Ak was “mov[ing] like an f-g” for singling out female rappers including Yung Miami and GloRilla, whom Ak chastised over the weekend because of her feud with Kai Cenat.
