The ongoing defamation case involving Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is currently trending on the internet. Several judicial incidents are getting a lot of social media attention, many of which are false.

Some Twitter users said that while on the stand, Heard looked to be sniffing something while holding a tissue to her face.

From reports that Amber Heard used a quotation from ‘Talented Mr Ripley’ to the make-up pallet incident.

Amber Heard was mistaken for sniffing a substance by Twitter users

According to TMZ, American actress, Amber Heard took the stand on Thursday, May 5th, 2022 to testify about alleged violence she claims she received from her ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Amber Heard describes a scene in her relationship in which she holds a tissue to her face for a few seconds in a viral clip from her testimony.

A purported camera flash can be heard during her pause. Many viewers have referred to this famous moment as her “posing” for a picture. However, this is insufficient proof to be considered reliable information.

The 36-year-old was unjustly accused of sniffing a chemical while blowing and cleaning her nose with a handkerchief.

Many Twitter users were taken aback when they thought Heard was snorting something when she was only wiping and blowing her nose in a viral video.

Debunked quote from ‘Talented Mr Ripley’

More rumours about the 36-year-old claim she used words from the 1999 film The Talented Mr Ripley during her testimony.

Johnny Depp, according to Amber Heard, made her “feel like the most beautiful person in the world” until “he would go.”

Actress Gwyneth Paltrow says in the film The Talented Mr. Ripley: “The thing with Dickie, it’s like the sun shines on you and it’s glorious—then he forgets you and it’s very cold.”

The an apparent similarity between these sentences. According to reports, a phony transcript surfaced online. It gives the impression that Heard had reproduced the movie’s script verbatim in her testimony.

Some social media users wondered why the Depp-Heard trial was a webcast but not the trial of former socialite Ghislaine Maxwell in 2021.

According to false accusations, this is proof of a “media cover-up” or “lack of media transparency.”

According to Reuters, Maxwell’s trial took place in a federal court in Manhattan. The Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure makes it illegal to broadcast or photograph criminal hearings in federal courts.

The defamation action, on the other hand, is being handled in a Virginia county court. According to reports, cameras and recording devices are permitted with prior permission from a court.

Some say Amber Heard’s lawyer said she used a makeup product that didn’t exist at the time. Conceal and Perfect by Milani Cosmetics is the product in question.

In response to the statement, the cosmetics company created a TikTok video. The palette was not in circulation during Amber Heard and Johnny Depp’s relationship, according to the video on the platform (2012 until 2016). The video gained millions of views on social media and was wrongly utilized as apparent proof of a lie.

Lawyer Elaine Bredehoft alleged in court that the actress had used cosmetics to cover up bruises. Ms Bredehoft, on the other hand, did not allege that the actress’s brand or kit was the same as hers.

Amber Heard is suing Johnny Depp for defamation over an op-ed she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018. Depp is being sued by Heard.
