Rapper Rubi Rose recently clarified the nature of her relationship with actor-comedian Druski, sparking a wave of memes and commentary across social media. On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, Rose took to her X account to assert that her alleged romance with Druski was purely professional. In a now-deleted post, she wrote:

“And for the record, I never slept with that man, ngga paid for PR. Not the pssy (peace emoji).”

Earlier this year, the two were rumored to be dating, and they seemingly confirmed this in April by sharing intimate moments on Instagram, including pictures from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. However, in a surprising turn of events, Rose declared she was single during Paris Fashion Week just a few months later.

Rose’s recent revelations quickly became a hot topic online. One user humorously remarked, “bro paid for the girlfriend experience,” while many others contributed to the discussion with a slew of Druski memes, playfully capturing his potential reaction to the situation.

Despite the humorous undertone, some critics questioned the behavior of both individuals involved, suggesting that Rose’s post was not the “flex” she might have intended. One commenter noted, “I thought this was obvious. Publicity stunts are a thing lol.” Another user, @sydbwood, added, “-10000 aura for druski if this is true.” Others criticized Rose for “outing herself,” pointing out that she took money to act like Druski’s girlfriend, a move some found “weird asl.”

In her posts, which were later deleted, Rubi Rose didn’t just stop at denying a romantic connection. She also complimented Druski, calling him “funny and nice.” She went on to explain her stance on relationships: “I only give it up if I’m in love, ion care how much money a n*gga got. I’m rich asf lol.”

Druski, for his part, did not directly address Rose’s claims. Instead, he subtly responded by posting an Instagram story featuring a modified version of the movie poster for “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” with his face superimposed over Nick Cannon’s.

The public first learned of the pair’s split back in June 2024. During Paris Fashion Week, Rubi Rose told UK influencer Rambo that she was single. When Rambo asked her about her favorite love song, she candidly replied, “F—k love. Okay, I’m single, guys.”

Druski later touched on their breakup during his appearance on “The Big Tigger Morning Show With Jazzy McBee” on V-103 in Atlanta on July 31, 2024. He described the relationship as a “learning situation,” adding that “dating a beautiful woman” has its challenges, hinting that it requires financial readiness. Despite the breakup, he spoke highly of Rose, calling her a “beautiful girl” who is “doing great in life.”

After the interview made headlines, Druski took to Instagram to clarify his remarks. He stated that he was just “trolling” and that, contrary to the public’s assumptions, Rose actually spent more money than he did during their time together.

The entire episode has left social media buzzing, with users dissecting every angle of their short-lived romance, turning it into both a spectacle and a lesson on the intricacies of celebrity relationships.
