Jimmy ‘MrBeast’ Donaldson has become a YouTube sensation, recently hitting a record-breaking 300 million subscribers on July 10, 2024. However, not everyone is celebrating his success. Fellow YouTuber Rosanna Pansino has sparked controversy by questioning the authenticity of his widely popular videos.
While tech reviewer Marques Brownlee recently praised MrBeast on Twitter (now X), asserting that “this man does not fake his videos,” Rosanna Pansino offered a starkly different perspective. In a quote-retweet that has since ignited a firestorm on social media, Pansino expressed her skepticism. “It’s a nope from me,” she stated. “Airrack was caught faking most of the videos for this ‘challenge’ with MrBeast. Jimmy promised to delete Airrack’s channel if he failed. I’m wondering why he didn’t delete Airrack’s channel. Could it be because… It’s fake?”

Pansino’s claims reference a previous collaboration between MrBeast and prank YouTuber Airrack. Earlier this year, MrBeast had challenged Airrack to upload a video every day for 30 days, with the threat of deleting Airrack’s channel if he failed. Despite the high stakes, Airrack’s channel remains active, which Pansino finds suspicious.
As of now, neither Brownlee nor MrBeast have responded to Pansino’s accusations, leaving their respective fanbases embroiled in heated debates in the comments. This incident isn’t the first clash between Pansino and MrBeast. In late 2023, Pansino accused MrBeast of editing a challenge video to downplay her performance compared to other high-profile male creators. Although they initially seemed to resolve their issues privately, Rosanna Pansino later retracted her public apology, citing unresolved issues and behind-the-scenes developments.
“I redact my apology to MrBeast of not settling things privately,” she tweeted. “Based on new information and developments behind the scenes, I have learned that certain issues will never be ‘handled’ privately, they will only be dismissed or covered up privately.”
