Ronnie Milsap, The American Country Singer’s wife and song Vetter Joyce Milsap died at 81
3 min readRonnie Milsap’s sapphire died on September 6th. She was 81 years old. Joyce Reeves Milsap was born in the year 1941, in Gainesville, Georgia. Sadly, they would have celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary on October 30th.
Joyce Milsap and Ronnie met at a dinner that was hosted by Joyce’s cousin. Since then, they have both chased their dream of becoming an extraordinary singer. They tied the knot in the year 1965.
Reeves is been the song vetter for their Country music. The couple moved to Memphis and then to Nashville. When the singer made a huge transition in his life, his wife has played a huge role. Then at the end of 1972, they decided to settle in Music City.
The couple had an only son, Ronald Todd. He died in his 49 years of age. They are grandparents to Kye, Mya, Asher, and Wyler.
The biggest hit songs are “Daydreams About Night Things”, “What a Difference You have Made in My Life”, “A Woman In Love”, “Smoky Mountain Rain”, Almost Like a Song, Still Losing YOu, and so on. Their love between them made 40 number one hits. No doubt in the saying, when true love is there, there are accomplishments.

In the year 1986, he won Grammy for the song “Make No Mistake, He is Mine.” In 1987, he won the Piano Keyboard Player Award of the Year by the Academy Of Country Music.
In 1974, he won the Best Male Country Vocal Performance. He won a grammy award for his music “Please Don’t Tell Me How the Story Ends” He also won the Country Music Association award. He also won the award as Album of the Year for “A Legend in My Time” in the year 1975. Furthermore, Ronnie was awarded as Male Vocalist of the Year from the Academy of Country Music Award.
Up to this date, He has Number 1 country hits with 6 grammy, 8 Country Music Association Awards. He was invited into the Country Music Hall of Fame in the year 2014.

He said the words couldn’t express his love for his wife. He couldn’t create enough songs more to describe his lovable wife. Ronnie added when someone telling about the beautiful song he writes, he always says it is because of his beautiful wife. he says the song says it all.
As a genuine human being, she is been always the love of his life, a happy mother, and happiest grandmom. He says she is been so cheerful and ready to face the adventure of life.
He sadly concludes that she is finally in heaven with Todd (their son). She is with me always yet, she is in heaven.
