Sarah Palin has been photographed with former NHL player Ron Duguay in recent weeks. Now it is being rumored that the two are dating. Duguay, who was recently seen holding hands with Palin during her defamation battle against The New York Times, acknowledged to a tabloid that the two were dating.
Sarah Palin, who turned 58 on February 11, was later photographed with Duguay for dinner in Little Italy’s Gelso and Grand restaurant. Palin was subsequently seen departing with Duguay, holding a rose that was obviously presented to her by Duguay.
When asked if he was dating Sarah Palin, Duguay responded affirmatively through text to The Daily Beast’s question. “Hello. Yes,” Duguay said. When it comes to the issue, Palin’s lawyer, Kenneth Turkel, accused the newspaper of wrongly associating her to a mass murder, which a Times lawyer claimed was an honest error.

Who is Ron Duguay?
Ronald Duguay is Ron Duguay’s real name, and he was born in 1957. From 1977 through 1989, the Canadian native was a professional ice hockey player. He is best remembered for his 12 seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was a key member of the New York Rangers lineup. Ron Duguay was selected in 1977 and spent six seasons with the team. In 1980, he made news by setting the team record for the fastest goal at the start of a game with a time of 9 seconds.
He went on to play for the Detroit Red Wings, Pittsburgh Penguins, and other clubs until finishing his career with the Los Angeles Kings before returning to the New York Rangers for a brief stint. Duguay appeared in 864 NHL games in his career, collecting 274 goals and 346 assists for 620 points.
From 2007 until 2018, he worked as an in-studio commentator for MSG Network’s coverage of the New York Rangers. Duguay was married to Kim Alexis, a model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, from 1993 to 2016. He has two children with model Robin Bobo, with whom he was previously married. The couple’s relationship has been confirmed weeks after sources stated they were only pals. Sources told People magazine that they were “just pals” who “met via hockey.” Palin has been single since 2020, following her divorce from Todd Palin, her spouse of 31 years. According to reports, Dugay and Palin have been dating for the past year.
