Dave Portnoy has been a part of an ongoing controversy where allegations of sexual assault have been levelled up against him. People have speculated that Madison Beer is related to the drama and it is not looking good for the 22-year-old singer.
About The Controversy-
Business Insider published a report claiming that Dave Portnoy has abused several women. The Barstool sports founder was accused of abusing and humiliating a dozen women. One victim, Madison, talked about her experience and said that she was “left screaming in pain”. While another came forward and labeled her encounter as “It was so rough I felt like I was being raped.”
While Dave Portnoy has denied these allegations and claimed them to be baseless, the truth is yet to come out. He posted a long video on Twitter in order to clarify his side of the story. The 44-year-old owner of the popular site claimed that nothing happened the way Madison (Victim) described it and said that it was 100 percent consensual.
Dave has been a problematic figure for a long time. He has been in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. In 2010, he justified an Australian man who raped a woman saying that she kind of deserved it.
Madison Beer Linked To The Drama-
After the Business Insider article written by Journalist Julia Black was released, people are assuming that the women Madison, who opens up about her experience in the article, could in fact be the singer- Madison Beer.
People linked Madison beer to the incident because of a tweet Dave Portnoy shared earlier this year. “Not to brag but totally brag 2 people have put their cell phone numbers in my phone this weekend. @fatjoe and @madisonbeer#manchild”, wrote Portnoy. Madison did not respond to this while nobody knows what Dave actually meant by the tweet.
Others are speculating that the woman might be a TikTok influencer with the same name. However, all of these are just assumptions and neither of the two women has come forward and talked about the incident.
Another Name- Ava Louise
Ava Louise, the 23-year-old social media influencer has also been linked to Dave’s story. She told Business Insider that Dave Portnoy sent her DMs and was interested in her. It is quite disturbing to note that Ava was 19 at the time while Dave was 40 years old.
While people on Twitter and Reddit are taking sides, the truth is yet to come out.
