The accusations come from Sara, a fellow creator of the rival game “It Girl,” and include claims of racist and offensive behavior, body-shaming, and threats against other developers. The controversy has escalated quickly, with both creators addressing the allegations publicly on social media, drawing widespread attention from the gaming community.
Sara took to X (formerly Twitter) to voice her concerns, sharing a lengthy thread outlining her grievances against Gigi. The accusations included claims that Gigi threatened her employees with legal action if they chose to speak out about her behavior. Additionally, Sara alleged that Gigi made several derogatory comments, including attempts to discredit her by framing her as a rapist. The allegations were further supported by screenshots shared by Sara and others, including former developers from “Dress to Impress.” These individuals claimed that Gigi had engaged in discussions about how to sabotage “It Girl” as Sara’s game began to gain popularity.

One of the most disturbing allegations came from a former “Dress to Impress” employee, Chowiru, who accused Gigi of neglecting her mental health struggles, including suicide attempts. Another user, @Peacherin0, came forward with allegations that Gigi had made racist remarks, fat-shamed others, and shared inappropriate images on Discord.
In response to these allegations, Gigi quickly issued a public apology on social media. While she admitted to some of the claims, she denied body-shaming accusations and said she had never met Sara in person. Gigi expressed deep remorse for her actions, acknowledging that her words had hurt people.
“Before I say anything, I just want to genuinely apologize for any hurt I have caused and for the things I’ve said that have offended anyone. I never meant to offend or upset anyone, but I get that my words and actions have impacted people, and I’m really sorry for that,” Gigi wrote in her statement. She also mentioned that many of the instances brought up had occurred when she was just 14 years old, and while she does not use this as an excuse, she emphasized that they are not recent events.
