The tickets for The Cure’s North American tour were available to be purchased from the website of Ticketmaster. The ticketing website had however imposed fees on tickets for the Verified Fan Program. Which certainly didn’t go well with many resulting in outrage on the same.

After The Cure band got to know about the social media outrage on the high prices of the tickets for their North American tour. Robert Smith of the rock band himself came ahead to support the fans on the matter. Not to forget, Robert Smith is the frontman of The Cure.
Robert came up to say that after a discussion on the whole issue, Ticketmaster would be refunding fees up to $5 and $10 according to the level of the tickets. As fans have been unhappy with the prices resulting in backlash on social media.
