According to the organisers, the format will be shaken up with Alison Hammond leading a new Bafta Studio from the Royal Festival Hall to give viewers an all-access experience of one of the biggest nights in film. A live stream of the red carpet arrivals show will be broadcast across Bafta’s social channels with interviews with nominees and other special guests hosted by Vick Hope and Ali Plumb. Live broadcasts of the final four category winners will be broadcast for the first time, allowing audiences at home to see the nominees’ and winners’ reactions in real-time. On the same day of the ceremony, the ceremony was recorded and live-streamed in the past.
