“The Real Housewives of Potomac” personality Karen Huger is confronting legal troubles after a high-speed car collision late Tuesday night, as confirmed by Page Six.

Karen Huger, known for her role on the reality TV show, has been charged with driving under the influence (DUI) and driving while impaired by alcohol. In addition to these serious charges, she is facing six traffic violations related to negligent and reckless driving, speeding, driving with a suspended registration, and failure to update her address with the Maryland Motor Vehicle Administration.

The fines associated with these charges range from $50 to $510, and Karen Huger will be required to make court appearances for each. TMZ initially reported the DUI charges, revealing that Huger claimed she had been returning home from dinner with a friend and engaging in serious conversation before the accident. She reportedly admitted to crying while driving and stated that her emotions were heightened when another vehicle approached, leading her to swerve and lose control.
