The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newcomer Diana Jenkins is apologizing for the recent remark she made on Instagram towards a black woman who runs a Bravo fan page.

The star came under fire for passing a ‘racially insensitive’ comment that left Bravo fans quite enraged and upset.

Here is everything you need to know.

The RHOBH newbie Diana Jenkins shares an apology

Diana Jenkins got into an online feud with Instagrammer named ‘Philly Diva’ Kristen Dionne on Thursday.

Dionne shared an old picture of a much younger Jenkins pointing out how different the reality star has changed over the years.

From there the pair exchanged a couple of heated comments with each other on the platform.

The actress however responded to one of her posts by saying, ‘It can’t feel good being a Black content creator.’

Bravo fans immediately started criticizing Jenkins for her actions.

The 49-year old however soon issued an apology to Dionne for her comment. In her statement, Jenkins said that she was unaware of the term and that she had copied it from elsewhere.

She said, ‘I assumed ‘Black content creator’ was a title referring to a page that would be focused on snarky content. I copied the term because I thought that’s what it meant. I didn’t realize it was referencing to you as a Black woman and a content creator.’

The actress continued, ‘Please understand I am not from this country @philly.diva so deeply sorry. I’m devastated that this was taken to mean something racially insensitive. I understand now why it was taken that way and that was never my intention. I am truly sorry.’

Regardless, Dionne came forward and claimed that she never received an apology since Jenkins has allegedly blocked her.
