In a snowplow accident at his Nevada home on Sunday, actor Jeremy Renner suffered “extensive” injuries that required multiple surgeries. CNN reported Monday that the 51-year-old Marvel star will require two surgeries to repair the injury. The actor is said to be in stable condition, but neither procedure has been completed by Monday evening. During the accident on New Year’s Day near Renner’s Mt. Rose-Ski terrace home, Renner lost a considerable amount of blood. Surgery will be the first step in Renner’s recovery.

A massive snowstorm hit the area in which “Hawkeye” star was clearing a path from his five-bedroom home with his Kässbohrer PistenBully snow plow. The plow rolled over his leg because there was a malfunction in the heavy-duty machinery. According to Renner’s spokesperson, he suffered a weather-related injury while plowing snow in Nevada. Two-time Oscar nominee Baratheon was airlifted to a Reno hospital just before 10 a.m. on Sunday after a neighbour used a tourniquet to stop the bleeding in his crushed leg. With his family by his side, Renner is receiving “excellent care” in the hospital, according to his spokesperson.

Jeremy Renner Leg Was Run Over By A Snowplow, Resulting In An Airlift To The Hospital

Jeremy Renner is in critical but stable condition in the intensive care unit following blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries, according to his rep. He underwent surgery on Monday and remains in critical but stable condition. Family and friends of Jeremy Renner wish to express their thanks to many people, including the doctors and nurses who cared for him, the Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, Washoe County Sheriff, Reno City Mayor Hillary Schieve, as well as the Carano and Murdock families. A representative for Jeremy’s family adds that the outpouring of love and support from his fans has been “tremendously overwhelming.” On Sunday night, several hours after the accident, TMZ obtained video showing Jeremy’s Snowcat being towed away. Following his horrific snowplowing accident, Jeremy Renner was taken to a hospital via helicopter, according to a new video. TMZ has learned that Renner lost a significant amount of blood as a result of his injuries.

According to TMZ, the video begins around 9:50 AM, right after the two-time Oscar nominee was loaded onto the helicopter. According to TMZ, Jeremy plowed the road close to his Tahoe home after a huge storm on New Year’s Eve so his family could leave. One of Jeremy’s legs was accidentally run over by the plowing machine, called a Snowcat, and he lost a lot of blood as a result. Until paramedics arrived, other neighbours, including a doctor, were able to put a tourniquet on his leg. After Jeremy’s previously posted a video of himself using the Snowcat on his property after a snowstorm, TMZ reported that the area was treated like an active crime scene with police arriving at 8 PM to impound the vehicle. As a result, the machine should not have rolled over Jeremy because it is equipped with a variety of safety features. Jeremy’s condition is “critical but stable” after he sustained injuries while plowing snow in a weather-related accident, according to a spokesperson. First responders were initially worried about accessing the accident due to the storm, based on dispatch audio obtained by TMZ. According to a source close to Jeremy, his injuries are “extensive” — he has sustained injuries to both legs and other parts of his body.
