NLE Choppa has finally gotten the opportunity to collaborate with Lil Wayne, who he has been a fan of since childhood. Upon linking up with Lil Wayne, NLE made sure to give him flowers. The Memphis native, however, did more than simply praise and thank Weezy for his contributions to music by sending him a bouquet of red roses as a tangible tribute. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (Feb. 14), “Shotta Flow” hitmaker shared a tribute video. Lil Wayne received a note from NLE Choppa, telling him how much he inspires him and how his life has been impacted by him.

Memphis rapper NLE Choppa made surprise appearances at several local high schools in DFW on Monday with The Beat. Most students at Dunbar High School, Garland High School, and John Adams High School were surprised to hear this news. Students in the clip follow their favourite rapper out of school with excitement as he inspires them to succeed, pursue, and achieve their dreams. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, NLE Choppa is an American rapper. “Shotta Flow”, one of his 2019 singles, was certified platinum by the RIAA and peaked in the top 40 on the Billboard Hot 100. Cottonwood, his debut EP, was also released in 2019.

The longtime Lil Wayne fan, NLE Choppa, has finally gotten the chance to collaborate with the artist he has admired since childhood. NLE gave Lil Wayne his flowers after connecting with the Hip-Hop legend. Instead of simply praising the star and thanking him for his contributions to music, the Memphis native sent Weezy a beautiful bouquet of red roses as a tangible tribute. Taking to Instagram Tuesday (Feb. 14) to share a tribute video, the “Shotta Flow” hitmaker captured the moment. Also, NLE Choppa wrote Lil Wayne a note saying, “You inspire me and have impacted my life greatly. According to NLE Choppa, the flowers represent his appreciation for Lil Wayne, an artist, icon, and most importantly, an inspiration. Before thanking Wayne for changing his life, he prayed they would share a big brother-little brother relationship in the future. As well as roses, the recent convert also presented a skateboard to the skateboard enthusiast.
As for Lil Wayne, he graciously accepted the gifts and returned the love with a warm smile. Lil Wayne said, Be like this guy, into the camera recording the moment. For real, he’s a good guy. This is something I do a lot. As he once again embraced the young rapper, he said, This doesn’t happen, he is a great guy. The rapper NLE Choppa also teased his upcoming collab with Lil Wayne on his Instagram stories. During the video shoot, Lil Wayne was seen wearing the viral red MSCHF boots. In 2019, a 16-year-old NLE Choppa revealed that his “Blocc Is Hot” single was inspired by Lil Wayne’s Tha Block Is Hot album. In a way, it was a tribute to Lil Wayne.
