R. Kelly broke his silence on the ongoing rumors that he is the father of Joycelyn Savage’s newborn.

R. Kelly shuts down rumors of having a child with Joycelyn Savage
R. Kelly continues to make headlines despite being behind prison bars.
Moreover, he recently spoke from a federal prison to confirm that he did not have a child with his alleged fiancé Joycelyn Savage.
In addition, the disgraced rapper spoke from prison during an exclusive interview with Rick Party of The Natasha Simona Sequence show.
He said, ‘I can’t name names, I can just say, Joycelyn is my fiancée, and I love her and she loves me, and we’re together. I can say that. She is not in my case or none of that. She’s not against me.’
However, Party directly asked whether there is any truth to the circulating rumors of him fathering Savage’s child. The 55-year-old singer on the other hand was quick to deny the speculations.
He noted, ‘Hell nah! That’s what I’m sayin’. She didn’t have a child. I didn’t put out no damn album.’
Kelly went on to add, ‘If I did put out an album, it wouldn’t be called I Admit It. We gotta start using our common sense at some point.’
For the unversed, Kelly was also addressing the rumors that he had released new music earlier this month.
Meanwhile, the show’s host Natasha Simona pointed out that Kelly wants his ‘voice to be heard’ before the release of his upcoming documentary titled, Surviving R. Kelly: The Final Chapter.
Joycelyn Savage claims that she is the mother of R. Kelly’s child
The rumors of R. Kelly, fathering a child of a woman named Joycelyn Savage stems after she claimed to be pregnant with the R&B singer’s baby in August in a shocking tell-all.
Furthermore, on 12th December she took to her Instagram handle to say that she has welcomed a daughter named Ava Lee Kelly.
However, Savage’s father, Timothy Savage was among the ones to refute his daughter’s claims. He went on Instagram Live to address the rumors.
Timothy admitted, ‘Rest assured, that’s not my granddaughter, and rest assured Joycelyn is not pregnant.’
Moreover, he mentioned, ‘My daughter Joycelyn is not pregnant.’
He went on to add that a fake Instagram account is claiming to be his daughter and is also responsible for making the false announcement and stirring up gossip.
