Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s potential move to Santa Barbara’s exclusive Hope Ranch community is making locals nervous.

On 3rd October it was reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are looking for a new mansion in the well-off private community of Hope Ranch, California. They are reportedly looking for a quiet community for themselves and their two children.
However, not everyone is impressed with the royal couple’s potential move to the community.
Insiders having a connection with Hope Ranch’s Homeowners Association (HOA) have told TMZ that many families residing there are fretting over Harry and Meghan’s move.
Subsequently, they are worried about the baggage that comes with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
Additionally, sources claimed that several residents are concerned that the Sussexes will bring chaos into their quiet, super-private lives.
They further added that Harry and Meghan’s move might attract real-world problems since they are famous and quite controversial.
Other reasons put forth by the Hope Ranch’s residents
Santa Barbara’s dwellers have reportedly claimed traffic to be one of the reasons why they don’t want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to move to Hope Ranch.
They mentioned that paparazzi would be flocking the area to get a picture of them all the time. Hence, it would create trouble for children who might be playing or walking to school.
Moreover, traffic has been an issue in Santa Barbara since the roads in the area are quite narrow and winding. However, the dwellers have tried to protect the place from an influx of cars for nearly a decade.
Furthermore, Hope Ranch is already home to several wealthy people. But none of them are as high-profile as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Meanwhile, the royals’ current Montecito neighbors claim that they faced no issue with Harry and Meghan living nearby.
Three neighbors who live in the vicinity of the Sussexes revealed that nothing much has changed since the controversial pair decided to move to their neighborhood in the past couple of years.
They further expressed their indifference to the duo’s decision to leave or stay by noting that many famous personalities reside in the area. Hence, it does not really matter.
Some of Montecito’s residents include Katy Perry, Adam Levine, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jennifer Aniston.
