Police find several guns at A$AP Rocky's Los Angeles residence

Days after A$AP Rocky’s controversial arrest at the Los Angeles airport, cops did a house search of the rapper’s home. According to multiple reports, several guns were found by the detectives at A$AP Rocky’s residence.

Rakim Mayers, who goes by the stage name, A$AP Rocky was arrested at a private LAX terminal earlier last week. He was returning from Barbados with his girlfriend and singer Rihanna. Soon after a search warrant was conducted at Rocky’s residence in Los Angeles.

The 33 years old singer was booked for his connection with a gun shooting that occurred in November last year. Cops believe that the rapper got into a heated discussion that escalated to gunfire in Hollywood.

The alleged victim of the gun shooting sustained a minor injury, as said by the enforcement.

As many firearms have turned up from A$AP Rocky’s property, the question remains whether detectives have seized the gun that was used in Hollywood?

Cops find multiple guns at A$AP Rocky’s home

Law enforcement sources informed TMZ that the detectives will soon run ballistic tests on the guns that were found at A$AP Rocky’s home to determine whether he was the triggerman or not.

They also mentioned that a background check on the guns found will be conducted. It will further determine where the guns were developed, who bought them, or if they were s tolen.

TMZ reported that A$AP Rocky and his legal team were shocked by the rapper’s arrest and alleged connection to the Hollywood shooting.

Cops ambushed the Peso rapper and nabbed him off the jet as they planned his arrest weeks ago.

The police responded to the claims by saying that they did indeed pull the element of surprise for Rocky’s arrest. They continued by stating they did not want Rocky to know that his house would be searched for a potential weapon.

Rocky however was released on bail by paying $550,000, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department report.

Consequently, if one of the guns seized at A$AP Rocky’s house turns out to be the weapon used for the shooting it would solidify the prosecutor’s case to charge Rocky.

Back in 2019, Rocky was charged with a felony in Sweden after a brawl started between his entourage and two local men. He had to pay over $1,000 for the damages and served a month in jail.
