The Weeknd celebrated his 32nd birthday in Las Vegas on February 16, 2022. A number of celebrities, including Drake, attended the birthday bash. Moreover, Drake took the opportunity to reminisce about their friendship as well.

Drake Celebrates The Weeknd At His Birthday Bash

Drake was an integral part of Dawn FM artist’s birthday bash. While celebrating the artist’s 32nd birthday in Las Vegas, Drake spoke about their friendship. Moreover, the 35-year-old rapper took to Instagram to share a series of photos from The Weeknd’s birthday party in Las Vegas on Monday, February 16. He penned the post “We’ve done everything like it’s nothing…isn’t that something”. In several pictures, the longtime friends can be seen hugging and chatting during the festivities. Drake also uploaded a solo picture of himself while he was enjoying at the casino table.

Drake even uploaded a story on Instagram which featured him and The Weeknd laughing together. In his remarks, he said he had been there since the beginning and was grateful to be back with his brothers, but also that the whole family is back together in the city that is truly their home. In 2019, there were rumours that Drake and The Weeknd were having a feud despite being friends and both being in the OVOXO collective together. There is a line in Drake’s song “War” that might be to reference the feud. Nevertheless, as The Weeknd celebrated his birthday, Drake was in the forefront to help him host the same. Even Future and The Weeknd played blackjack together during the festivities.

Moreover, on the occasion of his birthday, The Weeknd also announced the TV Special for Latest Album Dawn FM. Amazon Music will also feature an eight-track live EP of The Weeknd x The Dawn FM Experience that debuts on Prime Video on Saturday. While discussing his latest TV project with director Micah Bickham and creative director La Mar C. Taylor, he expressed his excitement over the show. His fans got their first taste of the album when he released a track called “Take My Breath” in August. An Olympic promo promoting the U.S. women’s track and field team later featured the song.
