Bridget Fonda stepped out in Los Angeles on Wednesday looking like she had never left her dressing room. Fonda retired from acting in 2002 after appearing in a number of critically acclaimed films including Quentin Tarantino’s Jackie Brown.
The 58-year-old actress was spotted in her silver luxury Land Rover chauffeuring her 17-year-old son Oliver, who lives with Danny Elfman, around the city with her ex-husband.
Inglorious Basterds, a Tarantino World War II epic showing at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, was Fonda’s last public outing in 2009.

Bridget Fonda styled her once golden blonde hair into a low ponytail with a scrunchie for Wednesday’s errand run.
Her face appeared to be makeup-free, except for a pair of black-framed seeing glasses. Apart from a few gold earrings in her ears, Bridget did not wear any jewelry.
Her former ultra-glamorous image is radically changing as she was sported comfy black-and-white striped top and black sweatpants for the day.
In addition to her white crew socks and New Balance slip-on shoes, Bridget wore some white crew socks.
While she juggled her keys, cellphone, and cup in her hands, she had a blue purse slung across her body.
A single White Female actress was accompanied on her outing by her adorable pup. The pup remained tightly by her side as she exited and entered the car.
Since the COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, Bridget Fonda made sure to wear protective gear when interacting with the general public.
In addition to several items on her dashboard, the two-time Golden Globe winner was carrying what looked like a box of masks while driving around the city.
Bridget’s current status
A California native, Bridget Fonda lives with her 68-year-old husband Danny and their only child Oliver in two Encino properties in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Los Angeles.
There is a strong celebrity presence in Encino, including Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, Gwen Stefani, and Selena Gomez.
After selling their Hancock Park estate earlier that year, the couple spent $8 million in 2021 on two luxury homes.
She lives a quiet life after retiring from acting
Her grandfather Henry Fonda, father Peter Fonda, and aunt Jane Fonda are all descendants of Hollywood’s famed Fonda Dynasty.
Her high-profile roles in a number of box office hit established her as an actor in the 1980s and 1990s. The classic 1992 thriller Single White Female starred Bridget Fonda as the fear-ridden protagonist Allison Jones.
Quentin Tarantino’s crime-drama Jackie Brown starred Fonda with Robert De Niro, Samuel L. Jackson, and Pam Grier in 1997. She appeared in 2001’s Kiss of the Dragon with Jet Li as one of the main characters.
With her husband, Danny’s support, she decided to give up acting in 2002 so that they could start a family.
