Pharrell Williams made an announcement, “Tiffany and I are engaged” at Kenzo’s fashion show in Paris on Sunday.

Pharrell Williams Is Collaborating With Tiffany

The American rapper wore a pair of almond-shaped diamond-studded sunglasses as he made an appearance in Kenzo’s fashion show. The fashion show showcased the first collection of the Japanese designer Nigo’s for Kenzo.

The custom-made Tiffany & Co sunglasses studded with emerald at each temple became the highlight of the show. Pharrell Williams said that the sunglasses were the firsts of one of the many things he is going to do with Tiffany. He stresses the fact that it’s a partnership between him and Tiffany. He further added it’s about seeing things differently.

Although Pharrell Williams was shy to reveal details about the glasses, he did say that they were all present there to celebrate his brother Nigo. Nigo is the Japanese fashion Designer who launched the urban line of clothing A Bathing Ape. He is the new creative director of Kenzo.

The sunglasses were crafted from 18k gold with 61 round brilliant diamonds of over 25 total carats.

Pharrell’s Collabs Is Often Based On Sunglasses

In addition, a wide range of celebrities attended the show, namely: Kanye West, Julia Fox, Pusha T, Tyler the Creator, and many others.

Pharrell Williams has a history of collaborating for fine jewelry with well-known companies. In 2008, he collaborated with Louis Vuitton on the same lines. Moreover, he wears the necklaces of the brand very frequently. The music star has certainly been the face of many well-known brands including Chanel, Adidas, Moncler, Moynat and G-star.

Pharrell’s collaborations often include sunglasses, like the present one. LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton currently owns Tiffany and Co. In addition, Tiffany has recently collaborated with the skater brand Supreme. Consequently, the limelight of the collab was a pearl necklace and a pocket knife shaped like a key. Another notable merger of Tiffany and Co is with the artist Daniel Arsham, which is based on the Tiffany Blue Box.

Alexandre Arnault even teased Pharrell on his Instagram account regarding his collab with Tiffany. Alexandre Arnault is the executive vice president, product and communications of the brand. We expect to hear about Pharrell Williams’ association with Tiffany next year.
