Phaedra Parks’ former spouse Apollo Nida has begun a new chapter in his life. He has secretly tied the knot nearly seven years after parting ways with Parks.

Apollo Nida gets married 7 years after his split with Phaedra Parks
Apollo Nida and his new wife Sherien Almufti recently sat down for a brief interview with TMZ. Moreover, during the interview, they shared that they officially walked down the aisle on 14th October 2022.
In addition, the duo revealed that they got hitched in the presence of close family and friends in an intimate marriage ceremony. The wedding reportedly took place at a church in the area of Atlanta.
Meanwhile, Nida and Almufti have kept their nuptials under wraps from the eyes of the public until now.
According to reports, Nida’s former wife Phaedra Parks, and their children were aware of the wedding. However, they seemingly may have decided to skip the occasion.

Additionally, Nida said that co-parenting with Parks has become much better now and they supposedly no longer bicker with each other.
For the unversed, there was tons of drama surrounding the former couple’s divorce after they called it quits in 2014.
Besides that, Nida and Almufti mentioned that they have certainly reached a point in their life where they want to take the next step. If you didn’t know, the pair first met each other around ten years ago.
Nida popped the question to Almufti back in 2017 while he was behind prison bars. He was serving time for cashing stolen checks and laundering over $2 million.
Although they might not have an unconventional love story, Nida and Almufti have known each other for more than a decade and shared ups and downs which have made their relationship stronger.

Apollo Nida tied the knot with Phaedra Parks on 1st November 2009 after seeing each other for quite a while.
The couple then went on to welcome two sons together: Dylan Nida (12-year-old) and Ayden Nida (9-year-old).
Moreover, Nida was also featured on the show ‘The Real Housewives of Atlanta’ in 2010 alongside Parks. The duo also co-founded a fitness company called Phine Body together.
However, five years after their marriage, Nida and Parks filed for divorce in 2014.
Meanwhile, the 44-year-old was sentenced to eight years in jail under the charges of theft and fraud the same year. Their divorce was officially finished later in 2017.
