Pete Davidson Creates New Instagram Account: Everything You Need To Know
3 min readPete Davidson, an American comedian, has returned to Instagram after making many appearances on and off social media since 2018.
Davidson’s Instagram page, which is blue-tick verified, went online on February 16. He got blue-tick just after Kanye West used the platform to attack the stand-up comedian to win back his ex-girlfriend. Kanye’s ex-girlfriend is reportedly Davidson’s fiancée, Kim Kardashian.
The 44-year-old rapper has been mocking the SNL actor on social media. He shares memes and photos regularly of him and calling him a “d*ckhead”. West has also stated in recent writings that Davidson would never meet his and Kardashian’s children.
Davidson’s new account @pmd had no posts with 626k followers. He is following two accounts – Kim Kardashian and Sebastian Stan – at the time of publication.
The social media controversy between Davidson, West, and Kardashian has been ongoing since Davidson began dating Kim in October 2021. Kanye West was also linked to actress Julia Fox. However, the couple split up on February 14, after six weeks of dating.
Is Pete Davidson on any social media platform?
Pete Davidson does not have a social media presence on any site other than his recently formed Instagram account. He originally decided to leave Instagram in the summer of 2018 due to mental health difficulties. Following his breakup with singer Ariana Grande, which began to take its toll on him, the comic became a scapegoat for internet bullies.
He informed his followers in July 2018 that “there’s nothing wrong.” He went on to say that he no longer wants to be on Instagram or any other social media platform.
Pete Davidson said, “The internet is an evil place and it doesn’t make me feel good. Why should I spend any time on negative energy when my real life is f*cking lit. The fact that I even have to say this proves my point. I love you all and I’m sure I’ll be back at some point.”
He returned to Instagram only to make a message about how he had been tormented online for the previous nine months. He also discussed his bipolar disease and suicide ideas, as well as how the internet and everyone around him was attempting to bring him down.
Pete Davidson Departed Again
Pete Davidson departed again in December 2018 after posting a troubling statement in which he stated that he “truly doesn’t want to be on this world longer.” He also stated that he had always attempted to help others but was unsure how long he could do so. “Just remember I told you so,” he wrote at the end of the message.
Pete Davidson’s ex-girlfriend Ariana Grande reportedly turned up to NBC Studios where the comedian was working after he tweeted the mysterious remark. In a now-deleted tweet, his singer-rapper pal Machine Gun Kelly stated that he was boarding an aircraft to visit Davidson to ensure his well-being.
Pete Davidson returned to the social site five months later, in April 2019, before deleting it again the following month.
In May 2020, he finished promoting his semi-autobiographical, Judd Apatow-directed picture The King of Staten Island. That account was later deactivated as well after he shared a handful of movie trailers.
