Breaking news from South Korea is hitting the Internet like a storm. News of Parasite actress, Park So-Dam, says that she has been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. She gained huge popularity after working in a Korean movie named “Parasite”. In the movie, she was starring in the role of Kim Ki-Jung (Jessica). In the movie, she was assigned as the art therapist of Da-song.
As per sources, Park So-Dam’s talent agency, Artist Company, has confirmed to the media that she is suffering from Thyroid Cancer. Currently, she is going through a regular health checkup. Park So-Dam is a 30-year-old South Korean star who has recently stopped all of her promotional activities. All because of the immediate surgery that she had to undergo.
She was working for her upcoming movie “Special Delivery” which is currently is on hold. Park So-Dam is focusing more on her health recovery and taking rest from her works. The report says that she has skipped her promotional tour for the “Special Cargo” movie.

Official report Says, “Actress Park So Dam diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer from her regular health examination, and she completed surgery following the doctor’s recommendation. As the long-awaited “Special Delivery” is soon premiering, she is facing disappointment that she cannot be together with fans who have waited and shown support.”
The statement further added with the lines, “Although actress Park So Dam cannot participate in ‘Special Delivery’ promotions, she is cheering on the ‘Special Delivery’ premier. We once again expressed gratitude to the special delivery actors and production team who are also overcoming a difficult situation together with everyone who supports ‘Special Delivery’ and actress Park So Dam.”
As per sources, a statement related to Park So Dam’s post-recovery plan has been released that says, “actress Park So Dam will be focusing on recovery so that she can greet you all with her healthy self and we will do our best to help our actress fully recover. Thank you.”
