Some major events, like Coachella, have already come and gone this year, but one of the best is yet to come: Outside Lands. This annual San Francisco-based festival is held at Golden Gate Park, and this year, it takes place from August 9 to August 11. Outside Lands is more than just a music festival; it’s a three-day celebration of local wine, food, sustainability, and more. If you haven’t heard of this Northern California festival, it’s not too late to get tickets. In fact, you’re just in time.
Ticket Sales for Outside Lands 2024
Single-day tickets for this year’s Outside Lands festival go on sale Thursday, May 30 at 10 a.m. PT. For those who don’t want to risk the website running out quickly, tickets are also available on StubHub. According to the festival’s website, there are four levels of tickets available for both single-day and three-day passes:
- General Admission: Starts at $199 for a single day and $465 for three days
- General Admission+: Starts at $319 for a single day and $715 for three days
- VIP: Starts at $469 for a single day and $1,075 for three days
- Golden Gate Club: Starts at $2,249 for a single day and $5,095 for three days
Ticket Perks
All ticket tiers, starting with General Admission (GA), provide access to all six stages at the festival, concessions, and rentable lockers. The GA+ ticket includes expedited entry, access to exclusive food and drink vendors, and an exclusive lounge. VIP ticket-holders benefit from dedicated entrances, access to the VIP courtyard lounge with more exclusive food and drinks, VIP viewing areas, and a commemorative festival poster.
The top-tier Golden Gate Club tickets offer dedicated front-of-stage viewing areas with complimentary beverages, transportation on the GGC Golf Cart Fleet, an exclusive skydeck lounge, complimentary all-day food and drink, a dedicated concierge team, air-conditioned restrooms, and an exclusive festival gift.

- Sunday: Sturgill Simpson, Kaytranada, Teddy Swims, Victoria Monét, Chappell Roan, Slowdive, Killer Mike, and a special country set by Post Malone.
Special Features
This year’s Outside Lands will see the return of the Dolores Stage, an inclusive dance floor celebrating queer and trans communities, with the full lineup to be announced soon. Additionally, the SOMA stage will return to Marx Meadow, offering an open-air dance space spotlighting house and techno stars, including actor/DJ Idris Elba, Uncle Waffles, The Blessed Madonna, and Shiba San b2b CID, among others.
Culinary and Cannabis Experiences
Beyond music, the festival will showcase the best of the Bay Area’s culinary scene through the Taste of the Bay Area and Grass Lands, the first curated cannabis experience at a major American music festival.
Tickets for the 16th edition of the Another Planet Entertainment/Superfly production are expected to sell out quickly, so early purchase is recommended.
