Noah Schnapp, who became a household name after portraying the role of Will Byers in the Netflix sci-fi series Stranger Things, has come out as gay.

Noah Schnapp comes out as gay
Teenage actor Noah Schnapp took to his TikTok account on 5th January Thursday to reveal that he is gay.
Moreover, he outlined the post with a caption that read, ‘When I finally told my friends and family I was gay after being scared in the closet for 18 years and all they said was “we know”.’

In addition, he made a reference to his popular character Will Byers in the caption where he came out as gay.
He wrote, ‘I guess I’m more similar to Will than I thought.’
If you did know, fans came up with a theory suggesting that Will’s character is gay in the horror show. Additionally, they speculated that he appears to have feelings for his best friend Mike.
Furthermore, the most recent season of Stranger Things subtextually confirmed this theory. Schnapp and the show’s creators, the Duffer Brothers also confirmed it in separate interviews in July 2022.
Meanwhile, in the video Schnapp lip syncs to audio which goes as, ‘You know what it never was? That serious. It was never that serious. Quite frankly, will never be that serious.’

It did not take long for fans to share support and love-filled messages on Twitter after Noah Schnapp confirmed that he is gay.

Noah Schnapp talks about Will Byers
Noah Schnapp revealed in an interview with Variety that his character Will Byers is gay and in love with his best friend, Mike, acted by Finn Wolfhard.
He said, ‘It was always kind of there, but you never really knew, is it just him growing up slower than his friends?’
Schnapp then went on to confirm, ‘Now that he’s gotten older, they made it a very real, obvious thing. Now it’s 100% clear that he is gay and he does love Mike.’
