Omar Apollo has never avoided discussing his sexuality or singing about something similar, yet that hasn’t prevented critics from making presumptions about the performer’s personal life. One even inquired as to whether he was bisexual and the vocalist couldn’t be more clever with this reaction. A similar instance on Monday, 28th November, incited Omar Apollo to answer to a tweet that blamed him for queerbaiting. Fans can’t quit snickering at his reaction! Two or three months prior, he was reportedly romantically linked with Frank Ocean when a photo professing to have caught the two musicians in a frame went viral online. Omar Apollo has transparently sung and rapped about his queerness in his songs, without naming it as anything.

However, that hasn’t prevented individuals from attempting to theorize about his sexuality. A Twitter user accused the vocalist of queerbaiting with a tweet that read: Is Omar Apollo another queerbaiting vocalist? Like those sort of “I don’t label myself let me wear a crop top and paint my nails and I say I find another guy hot on the grounds that I like his songs however I could do without supporting straight men doing queerbaiting. The artist proceeded to answer the fan’s case by entertainingly suggesting in his tweet that he was “fr” (seriously) keen on being involved with men. Furthermore, when another fan inquired: are you in your bi era? he answered, don’t do that.

Frank Ocean and Omar Apollo have been rumoured to be dating for some time, but fans didn’t begin comparing images and building a dossier until recently. It doesn’t end there!
