The new mother shared a stunning black-and-white photo of herself clutching the child in her arms while sitting in a hospital bed. She captioned the image, “So Thankful For This Journey & So Grateful For God Blessing Me With You.” She also used her Instagram Story to tell how the baby made his or her spectacular entrance into the world. With his 6.2 million followers, the “Champions” rapper also posted some delivery room highlights.
In his carousel of photos, the father-son duo is pictured with the infant resting on his father’s chest. The carousel shows NLE Choppa being coached by a healthcare provider in the process of cutting the umbilical cord of his baby boy. The rapper also made fun of the heightened situation as Da’Nae was in labour, saying, “Push…fire in the hole.” According to Vibe, he also turned to his Instagram Story to explain the meaning of the baby’s name. Choppa and Marissa’s new child comes after they had a loss while attempting to conceive in March. Choppa recently spoke with XXL about the value of parenting.

NLE Choppa is explaining the meaning of his newborn son’s name, which has gone popular on social media. On Wednesday (Aug. 16), NLE Choppa and Marissa Da’Nae welcomed a baby boy into the world. ChoZen Wone Da’Shun was the boy’s name. The name quickly became a trending topic on Twitter. On Instagram, the Memphis rapper responded to the remarks by revealing the meaning behind the name. “Chozen – picked by God, God’s favourite, and also Zenful energy,” NLE Choppa posted on Instagram. “As W(one), he had already won life.” He is also one of the chosen, La’Shun, is my middle name. Da’Shun Denae is Marissa’s given name. Potts is, of course, my surname.” Choppa & Marissa’s new child comes after they had a miscarriage while trying to get pregnant in March. Choppa recently spoke with XXL about the value of parenting. The fact that I have been an excellent role model for my daughter has made me a better role model for kids everywhere, he said.
