Nina Dobrev, best known for her role in “The Vampire Diaries,” has been hospitalized following a severe e-bike accident. The 35-year-old actress shared a photo of herself lying in a hospital bed, with a cast on her knee and a neck brace, signaling the seriousness of her injuries.
Nina Dobrev posted a comparison photo on her social media, showing her smiling on her e-bike before the accident and then her current state in the hospital. “How it started vs how it’s going,” she captioned the images. In a heartfelt message to her 25 million followers, she assured them of her condition: “I’m ok but it’s going to be a long road of recovery ahead,” accompanied by a bandaged heart emoji.
The incident has drawn an outpouring of support from fans and celebrity friends alike, including Kayla Ewell, Claire Holt, stylist Kate Young, and dancer Julianne Hough. Dobrev’s management has been contacted for further comment, but no additional information has been released.
Nina Dobrev is currently in a relationship with former professional snowboarder Shaun White, a five-time Olympian and three-time Olympic gold medalist in half-pipe snowboarding. News, referring to her snowboarding abilities. “She grew up in Canada, so it was nice ’cause that’s definitely sometimes a relationship make-or-break. Not if they can’t ride, but I’ve had people come up with me and it didn’t end well ’cause I’m not the best coach at times.”
The couple’s journey began with a brief encounter at an awards show in 2012, but they didn’t formally connect until seven years later at a Tony Robbins workshop in Florida. White admitted to People magazine that he initially knew little about Dobrev. Their relationship blossomed, and they went public on Instagram in April 2020. Last year, they purchased a $4.3 million mid-century modern house in Los Angeles together.

White has often expressed his admiration for Dobrev. During the promotion of his Max docuseries “Shaun White: The Last Run,” which debuted last July, he referred to her as “incredible.” “She’s just been so supportive and having her in my corner for this chapter in my life where I’m retired and looking for what’s next,” he told Extra.
