Nicola Peltz Beckham recently graced the Tatler magazine cover and spoke candidly about her and Brooklyn Beckham’s professional challenges. She revealed that her husband’s initial aspiration was to follow in his father David Beckham’s footsteps and become a professional soccer player.

Unfortunately, he was cut from the youth squad of London club Arsenal before he turned 16. Peltz revealed that Brooklyn was also very interested in fashion, modeling, and photography. He lately began experimenting with his cooking abilities on TV.

Peltz revealed that her spouse did not enjoy the procedure because he was constantly under pressure to please others with his professional choices:

“A lot of pressure to please people with his career and he didn’t love it.”

She also shared Brooklyn’s enthusiasm for cooking, which he primarily developed during the COVID-19 pandemic:

“You can tell that when Brooklyn’s in the kitchen he’s in heaven. Ever since the pandemic, all he’s wanted to talk about is being in the kitchen, so I just started filming him one day. I said, ‘This is what you love.’”

Nicola Peltz discusses her own difficulties in the workplace

Nicola Peltz brought up her own work difficulties when discussing her husband Brooklyn Beckham’s professional difficulties. She admitted that while still in school, she developed a love for theatre. She told her parents that she wanted to pursue acting.

Blackbird, an off-Broadway production about the reunion of a woman and her abuser who abused her 15 years previously when she was a youngster, gave the actor her first acting role. She later went on to make appearances in the movies Transformers: Age of Extinction and Bates Motel, both horror series.

Peltz continued, “I’ve heard ‘no’ a million and one times. I’ve encountered many rejections along the way, but I’ve learned to embrace failure. I had such a high threshold for rejection when I was younger that I almost turned into a robot. Accepting rejection with an attitude of “OK, it’s a no, moving on!” It’s not simple, but you have to wish the other candidate for the post the best. I always had the impression that what is meant for you will eventually arrive.
