On Nicki Minaj new song Red Ruby Da Sleeze, fans accuse her of dissing Megan Thee Stallion and Latto. Nicki Minaj released her new single on Friday (March 3). Mixed reviews are being received for the track, which samples Lumidee’s 2003 song “Never Leave You (Uh Oooh, Uh Oooh). Fans point out subliminal references to Megan Thee Stallion and Latto in the lyrics. A double dose of shade was given to Megan Thee Stallion, according to fans. There is some speculation that Nicki’s horse line refers to Meg, who is described as having seven hundred horses when we’re about to leave (oh-oh).

In another supposed diss line, Nicki snaps, Ya fuckin’ bozo/That .40cal a make em dance like a go-go. Make ’em dance is saying to shoot at someone’s feet like Tory Lanez did to Megan Thee Stallion. One Twitter user pointed out: Minaj has once again attacked Megan despite her not speaking for months. Bitter Barbie has another one-sided beef with Megan due to her success. Another person tweeted that Nicki Minaj’s new song making fun of Megan Thee Stallion getting shot is disgusting.

It’s not necessary for Nicki Minaj to pop out, but when she does, she certainly needs to be addressed. It’s not surprising that the Pink Friday rapper has found herself trading words with a few of the new generation of rappers – many of whom she has influenced. When the Grammy nominations were announced, her issues with Latto took centre stage. Despite the massive success of her hit single “Big Energy,” Latto was negatively cited due to the removal of “Super Freaky Girl” from the rap category. Additionally, there have been rumours that Nicki and Megan Thee Stallion have been at odds. When Nicki first embraced Meg, they collaborated on “Hot Girl Summer,” but when “WAP” came out, things seemed to take a darker turn. After Meg worked with Nicki’s nemesis, their relationship soured and Nicki Minaj appears to be on the hunt for revenge. Nicki’s “Red Ruby Da Sleeze” has a lot to unpack, especially her numerous subliminal shots. She makes numerous references to other women who are killing it in rap. While rapping, Nicki appears to refer to Latto as Karen, once again, when she says, We don’t be Karen like Donna-na, na-na-na-na. Nicki previously referred to Latto as Karen during a Twitter back-and-forth.

Throughout the record, however, there is a subtle dig at Megan Thee Stallion. She raps in the first verse, 700 on the horses when we are about to leave/ But I don’t fuck with horses since Christopher Reeve. In addition, Nicki seems to reference Doritos, a brand that partnered with Megan Thee Stallion, Dorito bitches are mad that they didn’t choose. Finally, Nicki seems to reference allegations that Tory Lanez told Megan to dance, bitch the night she was shot. That .40 cal makes ’em dance like a go-go, she raps. Ultimately, fans believe Nicki’s addressing some of her hip-hop rivals. Now that Nicki is returning the same energy, y’all are gagging over all these latto and megan lines. Rap is what it is, one Twitter user wrote. Another user added: I think Nicki Minaj is slick with the Megan thee stallion subliminal on red ruby da sleeze. It nearly caused me to crash my car. There was beef between Nicki Minaj and Megan last year when Nicki Minaj called Megan fake and encouraged her to have an abortion. Megan denied the accusations.
