Nicki Minaj had strong words for her ex-boyfriend Safaree Samuels following his appearance at her Pink Friday 2 tour stop in Miami over the weekend. Safaree’s presence at the concert didn’t sit well with Nicki or her loyal fanbase, the Barbz, who made their displeasure known both at the venue and online. Now, Nicki has responded with a fiery rant on StationHead, making it clear that she was not happy with the situation.
Though she didn’t mention Safaree by name, it was evident that Nicki’s comments were aimed at her ex. During her StationHead broadcast, Nicki hinted at the disruption caused by Safaree’s unexpected attendance, addressing the negativity she believes was aimed at her and her fans. “When you’re at peace and when you’re happy, so many things will start coming, you know, to try to steal your joy and to steal your peace,” she said. “Please don’t let it.”

Nicki Minaj emphasized that the Barbz had been thriving all year and deserved to be left alone. She issued a warning, suggesting that those who had disrespected her and her fans would face bad karma. “Y’all karma is about to be bad if you’ve been disrespecting Nicki and the Barbz,” she said. “However, it’s going to get even worse, so please leave us alone.”
Seemingly referencing Safaree’s decision to record content at the concert, Nicki Minaj continued to express her frustration. Safaree was seen rapping along to Nicki’s hits, and he even shared a vlog from the event, which only fueled the controversy. Nicki pointed out that anyone could attend an event incognito if they wished but took issue with Safaree’s approach. “Everyone knows how to go to watch anything and be incognito,” she said. “I’m a f* superstar. If I want to go to a concert and be completely incognito, I would know how to do it. I ain’t filming myself and all that s, doing f* TikToks. Like, what the f.”

Nicki’s message didn’t end there. She urged the Barbz to take action against those who were causing disruptions, encouraging her fans to “unfollow, block, report” Safaree and anyone else involved in the situation. She also hinted at taking an extended hiatus if the negativity persisted, warning, “If y’all don’t get their a**** together, that hiatus is going to be a lot more next level than you could have ever planned.”
While Nicki was clearly upset, Safaree seemed unfazed by the drama. He took to Twitter to share his excitement about hearing one of Nicki’s classic tracks, Roman’s Revenge, at the concert. “I dropped my drink, screamed, and ran back inside screaming my lungs out,” he tweeted, reminiscing about the moment.
This incident has reignited tension between the former couple, who have had a rocky relationship since their split. While Nicki has moved on from the relationship, this latest episode shows that unresolved issues can still cause a stir between them. As for the Barbz, they have taken their leader’s words to heart, standing by Nicki and continuing to defend her against any outside drama.
