The 42-year-old began, ‘I can wholeheartedly say I know Kyrie Irving is not anti-Semitic.’

Greenblatt on the other hand responded with, ‘When given the chance to say are you antisemitic or not. e didn’t say no I’m not antisemitic.’

He added, ‘The movie is saying white Jews invented the Holocaust and six million Jews didn’t get killed.’

Subsequently, the ADL CEO continued, ‘I know that isn’t right because there is a gigantic historical record. Jewish people know, when you dehumanize us this way, we know what’s around the corner.’

Nick Cannon condemns Brooklyn Nets for ‘dehumanizing’ Kyrie Irving

During a recent interview, Nick Cannon went on to compare Kyrie Irving’s five-game suspension to the savage practice of buck-breaking done in slavery.

He said, ‘So in that same statement as, “Those are the tropes that dehumanize Jewish people,” the same buck-breaking…’

However, Jonathan Greenblatt stopped him at this point and asked him to explain the term ‘buck-breaking.’

Hence, C annon explained, ‘The slave masters would bring the buck, the one that gets out of line. So all the other slaves would see, lash after lash, show them the power to set an example.’

He added, ‘This is what you must do to fall in line. So, when we see the six things that Kyrie must do to get his job back, that’s dehumanizing.’

Meanwhile, Irving and the Nets have joined forces with the Anti-Defamation League and pledged $500k each. They will donate the amount to organizations that ‘eradicate intolerance.’

Besides that, Irving will be required to undergo sensitivity training in addition to his suspension before he returns to the court.

Furthermore, Cannon is reportedly expecting his 11th child and his second with partner Alyssa Scott.
