Sources with direct knowledge reported to TMZ that Newsmax is doing everything that it can to sweeten the deal for Tucker Carlson.

Moreover, they have even run by the idea of letting him program not just his show but the whole channel.

Nevertheless, the deal appears to be too tempting as it comes along with Carlson having his own primetime show.

In addition, Tucker would have a right to comment on which shows would be in and out of his show. Further, it might provide the network the opportunity to achieve higher ratings on television.

Meanwhile, insiders have claimed that Newsmax still has not officially offered Carlson a job. Additionally, he cannot have a formal discussion with the network following his contract with Fox News.

Besides that, the network executives have clarified that they would hand over Carlson the biggest say while deciding on plans to rebrand Newsmax.

Subsequently, Newsmax competition, NewsNation has also started showing interest in Carlson as well.

Tucker Carlson his silence on being axed by Fox News without revealing the reason

Tucker Carlson broke his silence on Wednesday night which came two days following his unceremonious departure from Fox News.

But Carlson did not directly address his firing or what his plans for the future were.

The right-wing former prime-time TV host shared a video on his official Twitter account where he expressed his take on politics in the United States.

He said, ‘When you take a little time off, you realize how unbelievably stupid the debates you see on television are, they’re completely irrelevant. They mean nothing. In five years, we won’t even remember that we had them. Trust me as someone who participated.’
