A viral video featuring Sally Field & Jane Fonda is leading Twitter to identify with the friendship between the two. Befriend someone who loves you as much as Jane Fonda loves Sally Field. The 80 For Brady stars are making waves for a new interview on CBS Sunday Morning, in which Fonda talks about actively pursuing her friendship with Field despite her hesitations, which has deeply resonated on Twitter. Fonda explained how women go the extra mile for each other in the Jan. 15 interview, effortlessly dragging (most) men for having surface-level friendships.

You guys kind of sit side-by-side watching sports or cars or women, she said. Women sit facing one another eye to eye and say, I’m in trouble, I need you. Please help me. Being vulnerable isn’t a problem for us. The Monster-in-Law actress Jane Fonda opened up about how her favourite ex-husband Ted Turner told her that after 60, people do not make new friends. Her response was, I believe that he’s actually wrong. Using Field as an example, she said she met the actor over the years but didn’t seek her out as a friend.

In A New Viral Video Twitter Is Identifying The Friendship Between Sally Field & Jane Fonda

With the help of a new viral video, Twitter is identifying the friendship between Sally Field & Jane Fonda. One viewer tweeted that Jane Fonda adopts introverts and collects extraverts. Despite her hesitations, Fonda tells the story of how she became friends with Field by actively pursuing their friendship on CBS Sunday Morning, which is going viral on Twitter. During the interview on Jan. 15, Fonda effortlessly dragged (most) men for having superficial friendships and talked about women’s extra efforts. According to her, you guys spend your time watching sports, cars, or women together. Women stare into each other’s eyes and say, I’m in trouble, I need your help. Can you help me? We don’t mind being vulnerable. The actress used Field as an example, saying that she would meet the actor over the years but would not seek out a friendship with her directly. I pursued you, she clarified, prompting Field to respond, Oh goodness sake, I couldn’t stop you. She tends to become reclusive, so I pursued you, Jane Fonda continued. If you want to be friends with someone, you have to pursue them. You have to admit that I’m intentionally trying to be your friend.

That’s what works. Fonda’s longtime friend and screen partner Lily Tomlin, who has been an 80 for Brady co-star with Fonda for decades, spoke out to support Fonda. It’s not that I like people that much, she said, before confirming that she can’t get rid of” friends like Fonda who are persistent with their friendships. Field laughed, adding that they wouldn’t go away. The Twitterverse loves the strong, sweet, and intentional friendship between Fonda, Field, and Tomlin. Some people identify with one or more of the actors in their own lives, while others joke that Fonda is excellent at adopting introverts (Field and Tomlin). A user wrote: I’m Sally Field and Lily Tomlin, but I acknowledge that without the Jane Fondas in the world, I’d be at a loss. Unlike Tomlin, Fonda had never worked with Field before 80 for Brady, but their friendship goes back decades. Field told Entertainment Tonight in November that she met the actor in the 1980s when she “literally knocked on my door and said, “Come on, let’s go for lunch.” Despite not seeking a friendship at the time, the Spoiler Alert star has come to love Fonda dearly over the years, describing her as a female friend and mentor and so much more.
