A cute pooch residing in Colorado is making head turn wherever he goes due to his ability to walk only on two legs.

A recent episode of The CBS Sunday Morning Show introduced the viewers to Dexter, a dog who walks like a human.
Dexter is an adorable bicolor, bipedal Brittany Spaniel who resides in Ouray, Colorado with his owner Kentee Pasek.
While Brittany Spaniels might be known for being energetic and having an active lifestyle, Dexter’s characteristics make him stand out from the dog’s breed.
His owner, Kentee claims that it is not a trick she taught him rather it’s a survival tactic he adapted after a near-death experience.

When the canine was a pup, he escaped his yard and sprinted into traffic. Unfortunately, he was hit by a car which resulted in him losing his front leg with the other one being severely damaged.
Furthermore, Dexter reportedly used a wheelchair for a while. Until a day arrived when he climbed the stairs to Kenteeâs porch on his two legs without any support.
Kentee told CBS News, ‘I ran in to go get my cup of coffee, came out. I was like, “How is this going on?”‘
She further mentioned that Dexter is regularly taken to the vet to ensure his joints and hips are healthy. She added that the vet confirmed that Dexter should stay happy and mobile.
Following the six years, Dexter has become a full-blown celebrity not only in his hometown but also for the tourists who visit the place to catch a glimpse of him.
He also has an Instagram account under the name âdexterdogourayâ. More than 140,000 users follow his page on the social media site.
