Ne-Yo is speaking out after his wife Crystal Renay Williams, claimed that he was cheating on her during their eight years of marriage.

Ne-Yo asks for privacy while facing infidelity allegations
Ne-Yo released a statement on Twitter to address the wife’s Crystal Renay infidelity allegations on 31st July Sunday.
He wrote, ‘For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors.’
The Miss Independent singer added, ‘Personal matters are not meant to be addressed and dissected in public forums. I simply ask that you please respect me and my family’s privacy at this time.’
Ne-Yo whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith’s statement comes a day after his spouse accused him of being unfaithful during their relationship.
Renay took to Instagram on 30th July Saturday to share her feelings.
The 36-year-old model said, ‘8 years of life and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected … every last one of them.’
Furthermore, she continued, ‘To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is [an] understatement. To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist.’
Renay went on to mention, ‘I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t. I choose me, I choose my happiness and health and my respect. I gained 3 beautiful children out of this but nothing else but wasted years and heartache.’

Ne-Yo tied the knot with Crystal Renay in February 2016 while they were expecting their first child together.
They welcomed their first son, Shaffer Chimere Smith, Jr. in March 2016 and their second son in June 2018.
Regardless, the pair announced their split in 2020. However, the couple reconciled their romance during the coronavirus pandemic.
The R&B singer talked about the experience during the chat show The Talk.
He noted, ‘Before the quarantine happened, we were definitely talking divorce, and the quarantine forced us to sit still, block out the noise from the world – you know the world can get very, very loud, and we tend to let the world’s opinion mean more in certain situations than it should.’
Moreover, Renay went on to give birth to a baby girl Isabella Rose Smith in June 2021. Furthermore, she and the Arkansas native renewed their vows in a Las Vegas ceremony this year in April.
