Ne-Yo divorce from his ex-wife Crystal Renay was recently finalized. In addition, the two will share joint custody over their children.

According to the legal documents obtained by TMZ, Ne-Yo will get to keep three out of his four homes with Crystal Renay.
In addition, the Miss Independent singer is supposed to pay a lump sum of $1.6 million to Renay in order to balance out the division of their real estate holdings.
Meanwhile, Renay will get to keep one out of their four homes in Georgia. She has also fetched around $20,000 in moving expenses.
Additionally, the 43-year-old artist will also have to cough up $150,000 to Renay so that she can buy herself a new car.

Hence, as per the terms, Ne-Yo will continue to have ownership of their old car, a 2022 Bentley Bentayga.
Subsequently, Ne-Yo whose real name is Shaffer Chimere Smith will cover the school expenses of the children they share. Also, he will have to pay $12,000 per month to his ex in child support.
The So Sick musician will also have to pay more than $5,000 a month in alimony for the next three years.
The former couple will have joint custody over the three children they share. Both of them have also agreed to not be involved with new romantic partners around the minor children.
However, they can reveal their supposedly new relationship to the kids if they are planning to get married or engaged to that partner.

Ne-Yo announced his engagement to Crystal Renay in September 2015 while she was expecting their first child together.
The pair tied the knot in 2016 with Renay giving birth to their son a month later in March. Moreover, the couple welcomed their second son in 2018.
However, in 2020, Ne-Yo claimed that they are ending their marriage but withdrew the divorce case later. In addition, the duo reconciled their romance during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.
They went on to welcome their third child, a girl in June 2021 and got remarried the following year in Las Vegas.
However, Renay filed for divorce in August 2022 alleging that Ne-Yo cheated on her throughout their marriage.
She wrote in a post, ‘8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected…every last one of them!’
